ting.

A post from me, on a Tuesday?  Surprised much?  I know this is out of the norm, but when I saw this, I just had to share it with you.  If you've been following along, you know I love a good DIY, and that love turns into obsession when it allows you to recycle materials, be sustainable, and all that green goodness.

Well, in my internet perusing this morning, I stumbled upon Ting, a London based company that makes these BEAUTIFUL and luxurious products, out of old belts and seat belts.  While they surprisingly have a good amount of products you can buy, ranging from purses to pillows, hands down, my absolute favorite is their belt flooring.

Using old leather belts, Ting creates beautiful rugs and flooring material, reminiscent of rustic, old hardwood floors.  When used as a rug, the leather provides a soft cushion underfoot, and absorbs noise for excellent sound dampening.  All of that, and it is jaw-droppingly gorgeous.  See for yourself.

Sigh....Aren't the results just stunning?  It makes me want to start collecting old belts to craft a beauty like this, and then turn that last image into my living room... oh my goodness, I would be in heaven.  What do you all think about this product recycle?  Yay, or nay? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
