Today marks the last post of photo week. I hope you've enjoyed everything so far and found some inspiration for you own home decor! To wrap up the week, we're going to talk about gallery walls, and I'll also post several templates for you if you decide this is something you'd like to do.
Gallery walls are similar to the photo arrays we talked about yesterday, except instead of being in perfect order, they are hung in what seems to be a completely random fashion. You can achieve this look several ways. You can use different frames in unique shapes, sizes, and colors, or you can keep everything the same and just position the frames randomly.

I love the use of black and white against a light blue or aqua wall. And how unique is the tree decal behind the pictures in the two images below?
I am absolutely in love with the living room in the image below. The only thing I would change is that I would use black frames to really make the photo wall pop. Also, as you can see in the picture a few images down, using a colored matte around just a few pictures in your gallery is a great way to add visual interest and to make those pictures stand out.
For those of your ready to make a gallery wall of your own, here are some templates that I have found. As you can see in the picture immediately below, it's a great idea to hang up paper templates the same size as your pictures before you start nailing into the wall. This way, you can experiment with different layouts and see what you like best.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a lovely weekend!
