Our office is coming together, and I'm so excited to tie up the loose ends. You all know I still have to tackle those chairs, and other than that, the only other bit I have to conquer are the curtains. I've played around with a lot of different options, and so far, nothing has felt quite right.
A few months ago, I posted this guy on Instagram, but I ended up deciding against both fabrics.
Currently, I have some plain white Vivian curtains from Ikea just to have something up...and I'm actually really liking them. They're pretty sheer, so they allow a lot of light in which I love, yet they are opaque enough that people can't see in.
My only issue with these curtains is that they are so plain, and there really isn't any other pattern anywhere else in the room. So I've been trying to devise a way to spice them up a bit, and I think I might have found it. Ombre.
I don't want anything too dark and heavy in the space because it is so small, so I love the idea of having a gradient on the curtains that is darker at the bottom so a lot of light still filters in. Here are some of my favorite ombre finds as of late.
What do you all think? Are you a fan of the ombre trend? Have a fantastic weekend!
Love Ombre curtains. I'm going to try and make my own.
ReplyDeleteI do like ombre! And we actually have those same Vivian sheers in our bedroom and I plan on putting some in my office. They're just so darn versatile, but I'm curious to see how you spice them up!
ReplyDeleteI love ombre! I just recently dyed a pair of curtains and was sooo tempted to try ombre. Maybe next time :)
