neutral.

If there is one thing I have learned after years and years of watching countless hours of HGTV, it is the fact that neutral sells.  Although painting isn't expensive, most people don't enjoy it...so when a potential buyer walks into your living room and sees that lime green accent wall that you just love, it may not be a deal breaker, but it's also not a deal maker.

With that being said, neutral does not mean boring.  Some of my favorite spaces (living in particular because they are usually larger in size) exhibit this beautiful palette.  Also, just because you've gone with a neutral palette overall doesn't mean you can't add splashes of color in your accessories...in fact, I highly encourage it!  Check out some gorgeous living spaces below that are both simple and elegant.
